No fully manual video controls, but in firmware update 3 is possible to manually control aperture, but still is not possible to manually control shutterspeed and ISO, we hope that it will be possible in firmware update V4.

How to save money on lenses, it is possible to use old russian for example M42 mount lenses, wich are enough in good quality. Of course you need m42 to sony nex adapter. And with those lenses you must do everything manualy, focus, aperture.
